One of the new year’s resolutions I gave myself this year is to read and complete 20 books within this year of 2016. So far I’ve played and completed 8 books and I’m currently reading my 9th, which is The Last Coyote by Michael Connelly.
The other books I’ve completed are:
- Scott Pilgrim Volume 3
- The Black Echo by Michael Connelly
- The Black Ice by Michael Connelly
- The Concrete Blonde by Michael Connelly
- The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith
- Scott Pilgrim Volume 4
- The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod
- The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith
Cameron and I have been married for four years now. How did that happen?
Compared to some, that may seem like nothing at all and still compared to others that may seem like eternity, but to us it feels just right because we’re experiencing it right now and it is wonderful!
Just pop on those rose-colored glasses for a moment and I’ll give you a glimpse into our lives. We never fight. Of course we don’t always see eye to eye, but when we don’t, we talk about it and compromise with one another. We don’t boss each other, we ask one another. This is a partnership not a dictatorship.
I have always been the romantic. Clinging to the hope of love finding me and living happily ever after. After many years of trial and error, I finally found a man that was who and what I wanted and needed (coincidently I am who and what he wanted and needed too).
As I wrote in my first post, my parents have recently moved in with my 90 year old grandmother to help keep an eye on her and take care of her, rather than hire a stranger or place her in a home. This has left their house available to us and once we’ve done a bit of work to make it our own, we are looking forward to starting a family soon!
I came up with the idea for microreviews after trying my hand at the traditional longwinded method of game reviewing and realizing that I myself have never fully read a whole game review. Have you? The visuals catch my eye and then I skim for the bits of information that interest me and I leave the rest alone.
Solution: I play games, I take screenshots, and I provide basic information on the game with a rating out of 20 points tallied up from four different categories; Fun factor, gameplay, sound and visual style. Although I will confess that some of the screenshots may not be my own based on whether I was able to capture while playing.
Of course, I love discussing games. So if you’d like to start a conversation about any game I’ve played and posted a microreview for, please don’t hesitate to leave me a comment!
My first microreview on Uncharted: Drakes Fortune will post next Tuesday, May 24th.
